RBI Mural in Garfield Park

I was selected to create 3 different concepts for a future mural in Garfield Park. The chosen concept represents all outdoor sports that are played in the park. Garfield park hosts a local RBI league for youth in our City. Since 1996, Indy RBI has been the proud exclusive Indianapolis affiliate of Major League Baseball’s RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) initiative. Over 25,000 boys and girls ages 3-18 have played in the Indy RBI program and through participation, know Indy RBI as the area’s premier urban baseball and softball program. The Garfield Park Art Center and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful teamed up to create funding to paint an old shipping container that holds the RBI equipment year-round. On September 23rd, we teamed up with Eli Lilly for their Global Day of Service and knocked out this mural among 5 others in Garfield Park.

Major thanks to Sherwin Williams for donating all paint needed for this fun project!
